NOIDA: A 45-year-old dhaba worker died after he was attacked with a stone and brick by a colleague just outside Dadri police station on Friday night. The body lay there for hours before staff at the other eateries informed the cops the next morning.
Manoj, who was from Firozabad, worked at Maa Vaishno Dhaba near the main gate of the police station. After the eatery was closed for the day, five of them, including the owner Bobby, sat down to drink. The accused, Shankar, was then found to have committed a theft at a hotel nearby and was immediately removed from his job at the dhaba. Manoj had also said that Shankar should be removed.
