Debra “Deb” Kay Klocksiem Tychsen, 67, of Marshalltown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Cremation rites have been accorded per the wishes of Deb and her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in Paton, Iowa. Deb was born on April 17, 1953 in Fort Dodge to parents Dr. Roy G. Klocksiem (United States Navy Veteran) and M. Lucille (Sheppard) Klocksiem. She attended school in Rockwell City until they moved to Marshalltown in 1969. Deb graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1971 and went on to attend Marshalltown Community College until 1973.
