In an advisory on Friday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said a portion of North Avenue headed to Elliptical Road will be closed from Oct. 15, 2021 to June 1, 2022. It said motorists entering Wildlife and Veterans Memorial Medical Center can still pass through North Avenue. "Vehicles going Elliptical Road may take Quezon Avenue via Agham Road as an alternative route," the MMDA said. It noted that the closure of part of North Avenue would have "less impact on traffic" as it had been closed to motorists previously.
