‘There is an increasing demand for diversification from domestic Chinese customers,’ says Joseph Pinto, CEO of London-based money manager M&G Investments.
Vikas Pershad of M&G Investments suggests that India has emerged as a developed market, with its size, economy, and thousands of listed companies. He advises investors to keep cash levels low, stay invested, and take advantage of the opportunities in the Indian market. As for other FIIs, there is too much fear about how much things have gone up and then too much hope that other markets will deliver better returns.
Vikas Pershad of M&G Investments believes that investors should consider India as a market along with China. He highlights the rise of retail interest and the financialisation of savings in India. Pershad also discusses the potential for absolute returns in China and the growth opportunities in the EMS sector and auto ancillaries market.
