Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that the G20 group of nations must re-evaluate the participation of Russia and its president Vladimir Putin following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to attend a G20 summit later this year in Indonesia, Moscow’s envoy said on March 23, dismissing suggestions Russia could be excluded from the group over the Ukraine conflict.
President Biden said Thursday he thinks Russia should be expelled from the G20, but that if doing so proves not possible, then Ukraine should be invited to the club’s summit as an observer.
