The Town of Jackson is looking for qualified applicants to fill three openings on the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment.
Ideal applicants would have knowledge of planning, architecture, natural resource management, real estate, and related fields, according to a press release from the town.
To qualify, applicants must have lived in the town for at least a year, and they can t hold any other public office or work for the town.
The three members whose terms expire at the end of the month are William Gale, Amanda Lawson and Thomas Smits. Town Clerk Lynsey Lenamond said any or all of them are free to reapply for their seats on the commission, though she said the town is not disclosing who has submitted applications until at least after the application period wraps up.
