Little Free Sled Libraries Come to Muskegon Parks
Several Little Free Libraries have popped up in my neighborhood during the pandemic, and I love it! Such a cool idea to have books that people can borrow, read, and bring back. Well, a woman in Muskegon has taken that idea and used it for sleds!
MLive reports that Lynnette Marks built a crate and set it up at Beachwood Park, 3157 Dune St. Neighbors soon helped to stock it with sleds, and now anyone car borrow one to zip down the beloved sledding hill at Beachwood park.
Others have been inspired and now more sled libraries are popping up at other parks. Lakeside’s BananaDog store put one up at Lake Harbor Park, and there are plans for one at McGrath Park.
Muskegon is the Latest to Slide Into the Free Sled Library Trend
Free sled libraries are popping up all over the Northern states. West Michigan now has a couple.
We re seeing fun become a major priority in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and now West Michigan with pop sled libraries as seen in the videos at the bottom of this article. Last week the Banana Dog Store posted about the free sled library on facebook,
