Reporter held the victims as gunpoint. This happened on the first floor of this building here on 40th avenue. The victims say they often leave their front door unlocked because theres a gate. If we pan down, we can show you the gate in front of the building. Thats usually locked but the residents say they admit this gate sometimes sticks and they think thats maybe how they got in. This happened before 3 00 a. M. The victims tell us there were eight people inside the building. The five men broke in and went from room to room, waking people up and bringing them into the living room. Ive never had a gun in my face before. That was pretty intense. Do you allow a utility responsible for the deaths of eight citizens, friends, and family, to profit as a direct result of that tragedy . Commissioners, i urge you to approve judge bushys decision to make sure pg e pays its fair share of pipeline testing and replacement. On the whole the decision has been carefully crafted to make sure pg e does not profit from the explosion in san bruno. Why would ratepayers have to pay for work thats long overdue . The disenfranchised this comes after a judge ruled the utility should pay the majority of Pipeline Safety improvements. Here are the numbers. Rates are going to increase by 299 million.
