GREENOCK Tesco has delivered 30 trolleys full of toys to families in need this Christmas after holding a record-breaking collection. Store community champion Lorella Sutherland was moved to tears by the outpouring of generosity as thousands of pounds worth of gifts piled into the shop. Now Inverclyde Foodbank, the local Women s Aid branch and the Inverclyde health and social care partnership children and families team will distribute them to make sure that no child in the area goes without a gift this Friday. Lorella today issued a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made the 2020 appeal such a stormer. She said: This year has been record breaking.
