The mom is in the back of this police car here, and they tell me that she spoke to 7 news just a short time ago. She came inside of the laundromat to pick up clothes, and she had her tenmonthold baby girl in the back seat of her green chevu cruz with tinted windows. She didnt want to wake the baby because the baby was asleep in the back seat of the car, and she left the baby inside of the car, and she doubled parked ininde of the laundromat and went inside and thats when suddenly a man went into the front seat and we spoke to man go into the front seat of that car, and it appeared as if it was his car, because according to this witness he didnt have a care in the world, h
Break is still here, but a lot better than it was 24 hours ago. Lets look at the video. The cleanup is underway. And all of water has been pumped out of the area. A number of water trucks came through to pump out the water, and then the Power Washing crews came through, Power Washing the roads to get the sewage off of the roads at the complex. The water was about a foot deep in some locations had along five square blocks at the complex, and we have video of when it was at its worst. People were taping plastic bags around their feet to get through the water, and people were trying to make sure that their vehicles didnt get flooded. Stench. We had to put in a precautionary water recreation advisory. No swimming, no jet skis. And thats an advisory because of the break thats still in effect, and again, the crews coming in and out of the neighborhood, trying to pump the water out and wash all of the sewage off the roads in this neighborhood at the 500 block at northwest 4th avenue. I heard a shot like pop pop pop. A whole bunch of kids started rung and the security told us to get inside. So again, lets talk about the security that worked perfectly here. Student hand standing outside. This happened after dismyssal. They heard the shots fired. Faculty members got the kids inside the school. The lockdown was put in place and every one was held in classrooms and told to stay there until the lockdown was lifted. Again there, was one minor injury from someone running away from those shots. But no one was hit by bullets. But again, the superintendent says this is absolutely unaccept blg.
