Today, metro police are expected to release more information about the suspect in the deadly shooting and possible barricade situation at a valley starbucks. brian loftus investigators say the situation began at the store near warm springs and rainbow yesterday around noon and lasted several hours. 8 news now reporter nia wong is live on scene. With a look at how the situation unfolded. nia wong this intersection is usually busy yet quiet. But it was shut down for several hours as swat, armored trucks, the bomb squad and fbi agents surrounded this starbucks. Police tell us the drama started at this drive thru. They say after a man had his credit card declined at the window. He then went inside and began arguing with another male customer. Investigators say this upset metro police say they treated this as a hostage situation as this shooter went as far as hiding in a crowd of customers
