Roel Degamo on Thursday ordered the work stoppage at the Capitol beginning noon amid the threat of Typhoon Odette that has begun to bring heavy rains and strong winds in the province. City Tourism Officer Jacqueline Antonio told the Philippine News Agency that no activities werelined up upon the recommendation of the city's Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), even though Negros Oriental is now under the lower Alert Level 2 status.
