(CHICAGO) The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 1,182 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday with only 5 additional deaths. The state’s death toll due is at 20,767. The latest hospitalization report for Illinois shows 1,178 individuals in statewide hospitals with COVID-19. Of those, there were 266 patients in Intensive Care Units and 118 patients with COVID-19 on ventilators. (OLNEY) Carle Health has named a new interim president for Carle Richland Memorial Hospital and its clinics. Gina Thomas is now serving as president with the recent departure of Harry Brockus from Carle Health. Ms. Thomas has been with Carle Richland Memorial Hospital since 1999, having most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer.
