Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Sheriff Oborevwori, has said he was never invited by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) over the purchase of cars for members of the House as being speculated.

Clerk of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mrs. Lyna Aliya Ocholor, has described the late Majority Leader, Tim Kome Owhefere, as an exceptional lawmaker and excellent team player, who showed kindness to its management and staff.
Ocholor said this shortly after the valedictory session held in honour of the deceased lawmaker at the House of Assembly Complex in Asaba.
Owhefere, who represented Isoko North constituency reportedly died at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Asaba on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from COVID-19 complications. x
