Here’s What the Persona 5 AFK Arena Ren and Makoto Units Look Like
Persona 5
AFK Arena event are here, what with it kicking off on December 30, 2020. To be more specific, there are two new videos to look at. One is a general announcement trailer showing off the collaboration, while the other is a showcase dedicated to showing how Ren “Joker” Amamiya and Makoto “Queen” Niijima will actually work in the game.
The reveal trailer is set to “Life Will Change,” the Lyn Inaizumi song heard throughout both
Persona 5 and
Persona 5 Royal. While some in-game footage is showcased, it’s more about introducing the two and showing
Persona 5 Royal Soundtrack Will Get a Vinyl Release
People will have a new way to hear the
Persona 5 Royal soundtrack next year. iam8bit announced it will offer it on vinyl. Pre-orders will open on December 17, 2020, and the set will ship in Q2 2021. And, for people who missed out, the
Persona 5: Essential Edition records will also return in Q2 2021 too.
The
Persona 5 Royal soundtrack will be $75. It will be a three record set and have a jacket that is supposedly interactive. It will also have gold foil inner sleeves. The color of the LPs haven’t been announced yet and the Drew Wise art for the album is also temporarily a secret. However, orders placed before December 31, 2020 will include a “Hymn of the Soul” 7” LP when the order ships. A track listing wasn’t shared.
The
Persona 5 singer, Lyn Inaizumi, performed as part of The Game Awards’ pre-show. Lyn and the band performed “Last Surprise,” one of this entry’s iconic songs, during an in-studio live performance from Tokyo.
The performance was brought to us in part to promote Sega and Atlus’ upcoming game,
Persona 5 Strikers. Geoff Keighley announced ahead of the show via Twitter that Lyn Inaizumi would perform, and it was worth the wait. The
Persona 5 singer’s powerful vocals were in great harmony with the rest of the band’s incredible talents.

Xbox The Game Awards 2020 Sale Includes Resident Evil and Yakuza
To go along with The Game Awards 2020 hype, other companies are celebrating with certain events. For example, Microsoft announced a The Game Awards sale on Xbox One games. Until December 13, 2020, both titles that are and aren’t nominated are temporarily a little bit cheaper than usual.
