Seeing grandchildren and getting haircuts were on the top of the to do list for the 65-and-older set when they came out of the side door at Lapham Center after getting their second Moderna vaccine on March 4.
Many of them stressed that they were going to wait two weeks before resuming other activities, saying it was consistent with the Center of Disease Control recommendations.
According to the CDC, “It takes time for your body to build protection after any vaccination.” The organization specified that two weeks were needed for immunity after both one shot and two shot COVID-19 vaccines.
