Emergency Services rescued the woman after she slipped from the coastpath, between Beer and Seaton. After slipping she fell 100 feet down the cliff face and was stuck on a ledge 80 feet above jagged rocks yesterday around noon. The rescue saw a combination of Lyme Regis Coastguard and Beer Coastguard (East Devon). The woman was located by a National Police Air Service helicopter. A spokesman from the coastguard team said: A lifeboat was requested to help direct our the coastguard s technician down the cliff, the coastguard helicopter was also requested incase her injuries meant she had to be winched off the cliff.
