A Native Hawaiian organization says its upset over the recent handling and disposal of a sperm whale that washed up on Kauai s shoreline in late January.
The body of the 120,000-pound animal was first noticed on a reef off Kauai on Friday. High tide brought it ashore on Saturday. The death highlights the threat to wildlife posed by plastic.
