Seung Woo Choi picked up his second straight win on the UFC Vegas 18 prelims, defeating Youssef Zalal via decision.
Returning at UFC Vegas 18 was South Korea’s Seung Woo Choi, with the featherweight back in action for the first time since December 2019. Looking to put together two straight wins, Choi was up against Youssef Zalal, who was stepping in for Colin Angllin at the event. Who in turn had been replacing Steven “Ocho” Peterson.

With Nicco Montano dropping out of her fight against Karol Rosa at UFC Vegas 18 on Saturday, it was Joselyne Edwards stepping up to fight for the second time in two months. Panama’s Edwards had debuted on Fight Island in January, giving China’s Yanan Wu more than she could handle.

ONE Championship’s live debut on American cable network TNT has been a long time in the making, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said Wednesday.
Speaking to media outlets including Cageside Press as part of an international video call to promote April’s ONE on TNT series, ONE Championship’s head honcho noted that “this is a long time coming. When Turner and ONE Championship first announced our partnership, this was always the plan, to start broadcasting on TNT, and in prime time. It took a while to get momentum, and then obviously COVID hit. It really did take us for a left turn last year.”
