Luxury Travel Hackers said today that it has launched a new company, focused on helping the mobile millennial book influencer-curated trips via social media, with a seed funding. The company says it developing recommended vacations, using social media and story-driven content, and curated to the interests and budget of a traveler. Size of the funding was not announced. According to Luxury Travel Hackers, the funding was led by Thomas B. Managas of Centerfire Capital, LLC; Mangas apparently is the former CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Mangas is now on the company s board of directors. The co-founders of Luxury Travel Hackers are Gary Kohn (a former film and TV producer) and Katie Warner who previously owned a boutique luxury travel agency and was former Assistant Attorney General to the state of Texas.
