The new Ezra Brooks 99 is a higher-ABV version of the brand’s core variant The latest addition to the range is Ezra Brooks 99, a Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey bottled at 49.5% ABV. The flagship Ezra Brooks Bourbon is bottled at 45% ABV. The expression has been charcoal filtered and features the brand’s signature ‘spicy, rye Bourbon mash bill taste’, which has been ‘enhanced’ by the higher ABV. “With Ezra Brooks 99 our goal was to create a higher-proof Bourbon without sacrificing the rich notes Ezra Brooks is known for,” said John Rempe, master distiller at Lux Row Distillers. “And we achieved that with 99.
