US studio CLB Architects has created a retreat in rural Wyoming with three wood-clad structures, with a creek running underneath the primary residence.
At the heart of this residence designed for a pair of a empty nesters is what the architects describe as the “coffee house” a light-filled, communal space featuring large windows and a terrace overlooking the back garden.
'Architects are supposed to be making directions for people to make the building. And yet they don't know how to make the building. So how does that work?'
