Soul Solutions Recovery Center Clinical Director Patti Senn had initially hoped to open the holistic recovery center in late summer or early fall, but the renovation of the former AAA North Dakota building at 1801 38th St. S., was delayed by the now-standard supply and labor shortages. The SSRC is now finally open and ready to help the 9.1 percent of adults who struggle with addiction.
Gov. Doug Burgum and Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford marked the fifth anniversary of being sworn into office, reflecting on a year filled with historic progress on infrastructure, workforce, economic development and other priorities, as well as major challenges including extreme drought conditions and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Roles include weekly visits with older adults, providing friendship, sharing time and talents, assisting with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments.
