神盾預期今年將擴大出貨指紋晶片應用予大陸主要手機品牌客戶，預計業績有機會較去年成長，也將持續增長在指紋辨識晶片產品的全球市場佔有率，惟神盾也表示，由於光學指紋感測較超音波感測價格實惠，目前上下游供應鏈投入的廠商最多，在華為、小米、OPPO、Vivo等大陸手機大廠導入下，應用發展速度最快，有機會從高階、中高階、甚至中階市場同步展開，神盾光學指紋主要競爭對手包括聯發科(2454)轉投資的匯頂、被兆易創新併購的思立微等。
