Hong Kong: New bus interchange to open Dec 28
The Transport Department (TD) said the bus interchange on Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Road will open on December 28, following the commissioning of the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel on December 27.
Six bus routes, namely A33, A33X, A34, E33, E33P and NA33, will be diverted via the tunnel on December 28 and will stop at the interchange. They will no longer travel through the Lantau Link after the diversion.
Regarding traffic arrangements, motorists can use the new tunnel to travel to and from the Northwest New Territories and North Lantau in addition to the original routes through Tuen Mun Road or Tai Lam Tunnel.
