Legislative Day 29 was mostly devoted to assigning bills that crossed over to committees, Senate wasted no time getting to work on House bills. Chamber took up two House measures on floor, several committees met to begin perfecting bills from lower chamber.
Five legislative days remain until Crossover Day, but the hoppers are still overflowing with new legislation and legislators’ hopes that their big ideas will run a sprint from first.
