A four-race maiden entering the race, Designer Drink shot through the "Lightning Lane" to spring a 10-1 upset in Friday’s (Aug. 26) $151,230 Pennsylvania Sires Stake (PASS) at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Once In A Lifetime captured the other division in the event for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings, known as the Florida Pro, giving Tim Tetrick a PASS sweep.
Young and burgeoning trotting talent will hit the track at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday night (Aug. 20) with three eliminations for the William Wellwood Memorial and two elims for its filly companion, the Peaceful Way.
Odds-on choice Lukes Bar grabbed the lead moving past the half and coasted to a 1:56.1 win in the $90,500 Millard Farms Final on Thursday night (Aug. 4) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
