Oklahoma Children s Hospital gets a new upgrade for kids and families battling illnesses.
Keaton s Clubhouse at Oklahoma Children s Hospital has been in the works for two years. It’s a refreshed lounge area on the 10th floor.
It all started when 7-year-old Keaton Barron started the Keaton s Kindness Foundation.
After Keaton passed away after his five and a half year battle with leukemia, his parent Holly and Luke Barron took on his mission.
Holly Barron said it’s a place where kids can go be kids again. We have a new Lite Brite systems where the kids can come play with. It changes all different colors. We have a brand new, huge TV that they can come and watch movies and have parties when that s safe. We bought tons of Legos that kids can choose, she said.
