Baadur Jobava won the Georgian Chess Championship for a fourth time in his career after scoring 7/9 points at the 2024 edition of the event, which ended earlier this week. The tournament took place in Tbilisi from January 29 to February 7 as a 10-player single round-robin with a classical time control. Nikolozi Kacharava and defending champion Mikheil Mchedlishvili finished in shared second place with 5½ points each.
