TMC leader Yatish Naik resigned from the party just weeks before the assembly elections in Goa. Naik was left out of the two lists of candidates prepared by the party to contest in upcoming elections.
Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Thursday said that the party is in Goa to win and the Congress should take the blame if BJP forms government in the state.
There is no mention of Leander Paes in the 69-member Trinamool Congress state committee that was formed in Goa. Kiran Kandolkar has been made the president of the Goa unit.
