Boulder Creek resident Bob Gliner, who recently turned 81, is a former San Jose State University sociology professor who has directed more than 50 films dealing with social issues, including "Queer Silicon Valley," "We're Still Here," "One Carbon Footprint at a Time" and "Lessons from the Real World."
The African American and Mexican native of L.A.'s Crenshaw district, and head of the National Endowment for the Arts, believes that leading 'artful lives' can improve society
