According to dallas area Rapid Transit or dart as it is known in dallas, 43yearold Brent Thompson was among one of the five officers killed tonight. It was a mixture of officers from dallas area Rapid Transit and Dallas Police department who were injured tonight and among those who were also killed. Brett thompson had been on the force since 2009. This is the first officer in the line of duty for dart who has been killed.
