The highly-rated Gordon made the switch to Liverpool earlier in the year and has readily plied his trade in the under-18s, featuring seven times for a return of five goals and two assists.
But the conclusion of the under-23s campaign saw him handed his first opportunity for Lewtas’ side off the bench, making a memorable impact heading into the summer.

Steve Hunter Liverpool U23s ended the 2020-21 Premier League 2 campaign in style with a 2-0 win at Leicester City on Monday night.
Both goals came in the second half, with the young Reds captain, Ben Woodburn, breaking the deadlock just before the hour mark.
U18s winger Kaide Gordon, on from the bench, then doubled their lead and confirmed three points with a late strike on his debut at this level.
After drawing 2-2 with Leicester at home last week, Barry Lewtas charges produced an excellent display in the return fixture at the Foxes training centre in Seagrave.

Glenn Price Liverpool U23s earned a commendable 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the Kirkby Academy on Monday afternoon.
The Reds took the lead in the Premier League 2 contest after 18 minutes through Leighton Clarkson s fine finish, despite having Morgan Boyes sent off early on.
Jake Wakeling equalised for Leicester on the stroke of half-time, before Ben Woodburn then went up the other end to make it 2-1 with a penalty in first-half stoppage time.
But Barry Lewtas side were made to settle for a point in their penultimate fixture of the season when Kasey McAteer fired in midway through the second period.
