Police identify woman killed in Easton double fatal shooting as investigation continues

Authorities released the name of one of two people who died from gunshot wounds late Tuesday in Easton as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
Northampton County District Attorney Terence Houck confirmed 34-year-old Shakeeyah Jackson was shot and killed about 11:30 p.m. in her home in the Canal Park 3 apartments in the 600 block of Canal Park on Easton’s South Side.
A 42-year-old man also died from gunfire in the apartment. Houck did not identify the man because authorities are still trying to locate his next of kin.
