TYNEDALE’S most famous nightclub looks set to be transformed into 12 apartments - which could be on the market to rent later this year. Lugano Developments Ltd has received planning permision to turn the former Dontino s nightclub, on Priestpopple in Hexham, into the homes. The apartments are set to be created within the first and second floors of the building. In a social media post, Scott Munro, planning director at Lugano Developments Ltd, said: Delighted to be starting work on the conversion of this Hexham institution with Kapex Construction - 12 new apartments to rent available to the market later this year.
