A Ludhiana court in Punjab has sentenced two persons to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment (RI) each for possession of intoxicants. Special court judge Dr Gurpreet Kaur also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh each on the two convicts. The court emphasized the seriousness of drug offenses in society.
