Sarah Buck
Sarah Buck, the daughter of Jim and Lucy Buck of Jacksonville, received a Faculty Excellence Service Award from Chicago State University.
To be considered for the award, faculty members had to demonstrate service at various levels at the university as well as off campus.
Buck serves in leadership positions on the Faculty Senate, Academic Affairs Committee, General Education Committee and Program Elimination Review Committee, as well as on various department committees. She is a professor in the Department of Health Education, Physical Education and Recreation at Chicago State University and serves as program director for both the initial licensure and master’s programs in physical education.
