An artist and her young nephew have painted 100 pictures to celebrate the birthday of the late Sir Thomas Moore. Lucy Aston, from Twickenham, took on the creative challenge over the bank holiday weekend with two-year-old Archie, after seeing an appeal from the Army veteran’s family. Lucy and Archie made 100 paintings in honour of Sir Tom Moore Captain Tom’s daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, rallied people on national TV to hold their own “100” mission on what would have been his 101st birthday weekend. The national treasure raised millions of pounds for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his Bedfordshire garden, before he passed away from COVID-19 on Feb 2.
