Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 16) Less than a month after canceling its deal with the project s sole proponent, the provincial government of Cavite is once again inviting firms interested in developing Sangley Airport.
This is the second invitation to bid for the airport s upgrade, which the local government unit published on Monday. It comes after local authorities rejected the plan submitted by the consortium of Lucio Tan’s MacroAsia Corporation and state-owned China Communications Construction Company Ltd. or CCCC.
The request for proposals will be available for distribution to interested applicants this entire March. The RFP includes the project feasibility study, instructions to joint venture partners, and the draft joint venture and development agreement.
