Businesses have reopened across the North East this weekend after the Government eased the lockdown restrictions.
Owners of pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and more threw open their doors to customers and welcomed them back after an enforced closure of more than three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Queues were seen outside several outlets in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham city centres, while staff and customers got used to shopping, drinking and eating in venues again.
