BIRMINGHAM While a lack of cold temperatures kept Birmingham United Ski off the slopes for a week more than usual to begin the season, the boys and girls teams have hit the snow like they never left.

JONESVILLE - After several inches of snow led to the first snow day of the year, students with Jonesville Schools have been challenged to keep learning in a variety of ways. When a snow day is called, a Snow Day Challenge is issued, Superintendent Chellie Broesamli said. It s a fun way to keep kids learning.
A Snow Day Challenge has been developed in each building and is geared towards giving students educational activities. All of the challenges are available at www.jonesvilleschools.org by clicking on the menu button, then going over to the snow day challenge link and clicking on the appropriate school. Each school is running their challenge a little bit differently, and all have a variety of activities for students to work on.
