Of the many industries that COVID-19 gripped, few were more devastated than long-term care. Shortages of personal protective equipment, understaffing, and inadequate testing availability contributed to rapid spread of the coronavirus in many nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Student from Rochester Minnesota Named U.S. Presidential Scholar

161 US High School Seniors have been recognized as the 57th Presidential Scholars, three of them are students from Minnesota.
In Rochester, the honor goes to Lucas Scott Eggers, attending Choate Rosemary Hall, a boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut!
According to his family, Lucas is excited to come back to Minnesota for college (and will be going to Macalester).
