In Canyon Lake Texas, near New Braunfels, a local wounded veteran has a new truck, thanks to Wounded Warriors Family Support. The nonprofit started a program called Mobility is Freedom in 2015 to provide modified Ford vehicles to combat-wounded veterans. Lucas Cifka lost both legs when he stepped on a mine in Afghanistan in 2013. He s now the owner a modified 2021 Ford F-150 XLT.
