Show Transcript PROJECT TO REPAIR AND GET ROAD READ IF YOU HAVE EVER OWNED A CAR YOU KNOW THE JOY FELT ON THE DAY IT GETS DELIVERED. WELL, FOR SCOTT SHEPARD OF QUINCY, THIS SPECIAL DELIVERY WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY THESE STUDENTS AT THE GREATER LAWRENCE TECHNICAL SCHOOL IN ANDOVER. EVERYONE HERE THAT HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THIS THAT HAS MADE TODAY HAPPEN ON THIS DAY, I COULDN’T BE MORE GRATEFUL. IT’S BEEN A HARD SEVEN MONTHS FOR THIS GULF WAR VET AND MARINE HE WAS LAID OFF FROM WORK BECAUSE OF COVID, HE LOST THE CAR HE WAS DRIVING. THAT’S WHEN THE NON-PROFIT SECOND CHANCE CARS STEPPED IN AND TEAMED UP WITH LAWRENCE TECH, THE STUDENTS BRINGING THIS DONATED 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA BACK INTO SHOWROOM CONDITION.
