Jackets Visit Miami for Thursday Tilt on ACCN
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball returns to action on Thursday, visiting Miami for a 6 p.m. tip in the Watsco Center. Pam Ward and LaChina Robinson will call the game on the ACC Network.
Tech (8-3, 6-2 ACC) is coming off a solid win over Florida State last Sunday for its sixth Atlantic Coast Conference win of the season. Three Yellow Jackets finished in double-figures led by Kierra Fletcher with 18 points. Lotta-Maj Lahtinen recorded her third consecutive game with 17 points, while Loyal McQueen added 12 points off the bench. Lahtinen continues to lead Tech’s offense, averaging 16.4 points per game.
No. 3 North Carolina State races past Georgia Tech 84-75

ATLANTA (AP) Jada Boyd scored a career-high 26 points, Jakia Brown-Turner added 19 and No. 3 North Carolina State cruised to an 84-75 victory over Georgia Tech on Thursday night.
Kayla Jones finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds for N.C. State (9-0, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), which used a strong second quarter and outscoring the Yellow Jackets 28-12 to pull away.
Lotta-Maj Lahtinen scored a career-high 30 points to lead Georgia Tech (4-2, 2-1), which also got 15 points from Lorela Cubaj. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Wolfpack 50-30 in the second half, but were never in the game.

Tech Dominates Notre Dame, 82-67
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Five Yellow Jackets scored in double-figures as Georgia Tech captured it first-ever win over Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Fighting Irish 82-67 in Purcell Pavilion. Lotta-Maj Lahtinen led the Jackets with 19 points and Lorela Cubaj recorded her 12th double-double in the win.
Tech (4-1, 2-0 ACC) shot 53.3 percent (32-60) from the field and 52.5 percent from three-point range, hitting 10 triples for the second-consecutive game. Lahtinen paced Tech’s offense and finished with eight assists for a career-high. Cubaj led the Jackets on the boards, pulling down 13 to go along with 16 points for her third game with a double-double this season.
