CONCORD,NH - NH Fish and Game responded to a snowmobile accident Monday in Rumney at Route 25 and Sandhill Road.
Sharon Nelson, 59 of Dorchester, NH had been riding a snowmobile behind a friend when she attempted to cross Route 25 according to Fish and Game Office Gregory Jellison. She misjudged the trail and drove off the end of a large culvert, landing on an ice-covered brook according to Jellison.

A 63-year-old Massachusetts man was thrown from a snowmobile and seriously injured after the vehicle crashed on a New Hampshire lake over the weekend, authorities said.
Conservation officers from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department were alerted of the snowmobile crash on Lower Suncook Lake in the Granite State town of Barnstead around 2:20 p.m. Sunday, according to officials.

A Melrose man was thrown from his snowmobile after striking a pressure ridge on Lower Suncook Lake in Barnstead, N.H., suffering serious injuries, New Hampshire Fish and Game officials said Monday.
New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers received a report of the crash around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, the department said in a statement. Michael Flynn, 63, of Melrose, Mass., was transported to Concord (N.H.) Hospital following the crash, with serious non-life-threatening injuries, the statement said.
Flynn was riding his snowmobile across the lake before striking the pressure ridge a bulk of ice standing above the frozen water caused by two blocks of ice pushing against one another and being thrown from the vehicle, the statement said.
