Nalcor Energy paid nearly $1 million last year for the services of a single member of the project delivery team at Muskrat Falls, surpassing the annual earnings of CEO Stan Marshall, CBC News has learned.
An access-to-information request for the earnings of the 21 most senior members of the team has revealed that Edmonton-based professional services company Stantec Inc. was paid just under $865,000 in 2020 for the services of one of its employees, Donald Phillips.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said today that his government is being cautious with its timing estimates where the vaccine rollout is concerned and that Canadians may be vaccinated sooner. The target to date has been that sometime between September and December of next year, all Canadians who want to be vaccinated will be. In an interview with CTV News, the PM said that estimate is conservative.
