Cold in the morning. Lows drop into the low 30s on the Northshore. Light freeze and frost possible. Protect plants, pets and people. Lows in South Mississippi will be in the low to mid 30s. Frost possible there. Lows on the South Shore will range from the upper 30s to mid 40s. Mostly sunny and cool Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 50s. Rain returns Friday especially in the afternoon. There is a low risk for a strong storm and locally heavy rain. The weather improves for the weekend with highs in the low 60s and partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rain and storms increase Monday as a warm front moves out of the Gulf and a cold front moves our way. There is a risk for locally heavy rain and a slight risk for severe storms.
