Almost 3.7 million New Jersey households will receive checks of up to $1,400 per person under the $1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus law signed by President Joe Biden on Thursday.
A total of $9.6 billion, an average of $2,605 per household, will be coming to New Jerseyans under the law, according to Democratic U.S. Sens. Robert Menendez and Cory Booker.
“Help is on the way for working families, communities, and businesses for a stronger future,” Menendez tweeted after Biden signed the bill.
