we think we ll have an amazing weekend. we will, kind of. temperatures in the upper 70s, low 80s. notice the 60s, yes, there s a reason for this. there is a cold front making its way through. with that, yes, we are talking about rain and behind it, the cold air. how much rain? ohio valley on saturday, for the northeast saturday night into sunday. 1 to 2 inches. the bulk of it hopefully coming overnight. we re at the top of the hour which means it s time for the top news. i just heard the shots, like 20 shots. police was over there real quick. they got here real fast. breaking overnight, a shooting in chicago. a 3-year-old fighting for his life. a dozen more shot. the city now the homicide capital of the united states. we re live with the latest. on the brink, a key vote today in the house that could
storm between monday morning and tuesday morning. it s going to make for some very rough surf. we ll see some downpours out of this system and wind gusts too. those are the systems we re keeping an eye on. it s not huge systems. they will cause a little bit of a nuisance to those areas. we re keeping an eye on the cold front. it s chilly. 57 degrees right now in minneapolis. we re also seeing heavier rain from ohio into louisiana where in louisiana we could end up to three to four inches of rain in the next 48 hours. we ll see cool temperatures about 20 degrees below average. the below average air moves into areas of eastern great lakes tomorrow. up and down the east coast will only be in the mid-70s to low 80s. extreme southern texas will be below average this weekend. it is still very nice. these are very pleasant temperatures. okay. if you say so.
